Mare Fair and Mare Day

Fallen Oak was once again honored as the chosen charity for this year’s Mare Fair, taking place from September 27 to September 29.
Mare Fair is an My Little Pony convention open to all adult fans. Fallen Oak was also the con’s charity at its inaugural event last year. Kim and Trinity attended and had a few panels about the rescue. The generous attendees raised over $100k for Fallen Oak!
To say thank you to the community, an event called Mare Day was held at the rescue the Tuesday after the con wrapped up. Activities included learning to draw horses, farm chores, an overview on horse care, horse rides, and special supper called Dinner with Horses.
